Elizabeth & Mike-December 3, 2005

Elizabeth and Mike were married December 3rd in Atlanta. The ceremony took place at Inman Park United Methodist Church, a gorgeous stone church dating from 1898 in the heart of the Inman Park Neighborhood. The reception immediately followed a few doors down in the now converted, Trolley Barn event facility. The Trolley Barn first opened in 1889 as a service facility for Atlanta's first electric street railway line, running from the heart of downtown Atlanta. Glowing lanterns dotted each table setting and lit up the reception hall as guests danced and laughed into the night. With a champagne toast, Elizabeth and Mike cut their towering 3-tier octagonal wedding cake monogrammed with their initials. At the evening’s close, Elizabeth and Mike headed out for a week in the Bahamas.

Katie & Rodney-November 26, 2005

Katie Czerwinski and Rodney Rivers were married on November 26th in Marietta, Georgia. The Catholic Church of St. Ann was the setting for the ceremony followed by a reception at the historic Prospect House in Alpharetta. The wedding party was transported to the reception in the famous “Fur Bus.” The piped-in disco music put everyone in the mood for the merrymaking that followed. A very modern polka-dotted wedding cake, along with a whimsical “Oakland Raiders” groom’s cake, dazzled guests. Guests were treated with favors of the Couple’s favorite music on a custom made CD that included their favorite photos form their engagement session. The bride and groom celebrated in style, leaving the reception in a stretch white limo headed for the Ritz Carleton downtown.

New England Leaf-Peeping

In October, Charlie and I took our long-awaited leaf-peeping vacation to New England. We flew into Providence and then over the course of the following week, drove north to Freeport, Maine. On the way, we stopped in Newport, Rhode Island and visited the beautiful mansions of the Gilded Age. Newport is a lovely town and this was one of our favorite stops. We drove out to Cape Cod and farther north, took in Massachusetts intense foliage and amazing cranberry bogs. Toward the end of the week, Maine’s gorgeous coastline was truly the highlight. Lighthouse after lighthouse spotted the landscape and we ate some fabulous lobster. It was a wonderfully relaxing week and provided several great photography opportunities.
